InkStu processes your images locally in your browser. We do not upload, store, transmit, sell, or share your photos with anyone. This page explains the details.

Local Processing

All image processing on InkStu — including ID photo generation, AI avatar styling, background removal, image compression, format conversion, cropping, watermarking and batch processing — happens directly in your browser using modern web standards such as the HTML5 Canvas API, WebAssembly modules and client-side JavaScript. Your image bytes are processed by code that runs on your own device; they never reach our servers.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect: your photos, your personal information, your IP address combined with image data, your biometric data, or any analytics that can be tied to a specific image you processed.

Data We Do Collect

For site reliability and product improvement, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service that records aggregated, anonymous page-view counts. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies, does not collect personal identifiers, does not fingerprint browsers and complies with GDPR / CCPA. We may also record error logs from our CDN to diagnose outages.

Cookies

InkStu does not set any tracking cookies. The site sets no cookies at all on the public marketing pages. If you sign in to a Pro account, we use a session cookie solely to keep you signed in — it is not used for tracking.

Advertising

The free version of InkStu may display contextual advertisements from third-party networks (such as Google AdSense). These networks may set their own cookies. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or by enabling browser-level privacy features such as Global Privacy Control.

Children's Privacy

InkStu is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Because we do not collect personal data, there is generally nothing to export or delete. If you have created a Pro account, you can request export or deletion of your account data at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

Data Transfers

Our edge servers are provided by Cloudflare and may be located in any country where Cloudflare operates. We do not transfer your image data (because we do not have it) to any third party.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as we add features. Material changes will be highlighted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of InkStu after a change indicates acceptance of the new policy.
